Service Process
You can consult the luggage express service at any time on SkylineEx website
After the pre -shipping consultation, you can place an order with your consultant. The operation is simple and convenient.
SkylineEx will send you packing materials and waybills, provide detailed luggage express packing guides and personal guidance, and you can easily complete the luggage packing at home.
According to your schedule, SkylineEx consultant will help you make an appointment for free FedEx door-to-door pickup. Of course, you can also choose to deliver the attachments by yourself to the FedEx shipping center or.
SkylineEx provides air freight speed, and can be delivered to any destination in 1 week. The waybill number can be tracked on the FedEx official website.
打包与计费
Dimensional Weight (DW)：【Length × Width × Height (inches) / 139 = lbs】， Dimensional Weight should not exceeding 65 lbs, otherwise overweight charges will apply.
Freight Settlement: Calculated based on the greater value between the dimensional weight and actual weight. According to FedEx billing rules, when the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges apply to whichever is greater。
P.s.：Both SkylineEx and FedEx calculate volumetric weight based on the actual dimensions of the box rather than its labeled dimensions. This is because, in general, the actual size of an assembled cardboard box and its dimensions when fully packed with items differ from the labeled dimensions on commercially available boxes.
Select cardboard boxes: Pay attention to thickness and dimensions. It is recommended to purchase Heavy Duty Moving Boxes from Home Depot or Lowe's, and choose the appropriate size to provide maximum protection for your luggage.
Note：1.Plastic bins or wooden crates must not be used；2.Special-shaped items may use their original packaging, e.g., golf clubs, musical instruments, skis；3.If reusing old cartons, ensure they are in intact condition and free of old shipping labels.
Packing Notes: Seal the box using heavy-duty tape with the "H taping method]", ensuring the tape is smoothed firmly to prevent peeling. Then wrap and reinforce all 12 edges and 8 corners of the carton.
Waybill and Hangtag: Insert the waybill into the provided FedEx pouch, peel off the adhesive backing, and firmly adhere it to the carton. If the box material prevents secure attachment, obtain complimentary tags from a FedEx service point. Place the waybill inside a transparent FedEx pouch, then use the tag to fasten it to the luggage handle or pull rod.
Shipping and Pickup
Before Pickup: Confirm the final box count, complete packing, securely affix the waybill, and contact SkylineEX consultation specialists for a final check. After verification, they will schedule the pickup for you.
Scheduling Pickup Service: SkylineEx offers pickup scheduling across all U.S. locations covered by FedEx. Pickup hours are available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, within any 5-hour window of your choice. At least one business day’s advance notice is required.
Upon successful scheduling, a SkylineEx consultation specialist will send you a pickup confirmation letter to verify your pickup address.
Pickup Day: The courier typically will not initiate a call to contact you unless there are schedule changes on the pickup day. If rescheduling is needed, the courier will call you in advance to coordinate a revised pickup time.
Place notes at the main entrance intercom/doorbell and on your apartment door to alert the courier. Recommended note content: Pickup Confirmation Code, Your Full Name, Apartment Number, Contact Phone Number
If direct delivery is not feasible, you may entrust the package to the building concierge or mailroom; or leave the package at the doorstep if it is safe to do so, alongside a note for the pickup personnel to retrieve it.
If none of these options are feasible, we recommend self-service drop-off of your luggage at a nearby FedEx retail location.
If the scheduled pickup window has passed and you haven't been contacted, please contact FedEx Customer Service at 800-463-3339 to resolve this matter.
After Successful Pickup: The tracking information for your domestic luggage shipment will be updated within 24 hours. Should any issues arise subsequently, a FedEx specialist will reach out to you.

What time period can I reserve for door-to-door pickup?
SkylineEx will use FedEx's system to check the availability of pickup times based on your specific shipping address. Pickup times vary by region. Note that pickup appointments must be scheduled at least one business day in advance (weekends and public holidays are unavailable for scheduling).

Do I have to be present to pick up the item? Can I ask a friend to deliver it to me?
It's not necessary for you to be present during pickup. Simply affix the waybill securely and reinforce the box. You may authorize a friend or doorman to hand it over to FedEx.

FedEx staff are only responsible for picking up your package. They are not responsible for packing or weighing. You need to complete it yourself before picking up the package.
